From 2017 through 2021, the Shoppes at Wyomissing partnered with Commercial Ideas to promote seasonal, community-driven events designed to increase foot traffic and reinforce the shopping center’s role as a local destination. The primary focus was creating timely, high-impact campaigns, particularly around major retail moments such as the holidays, that could be quickly deployed across multiple media channels.
A cornerstone example of this work was the Countdown to Christmas event, which required the rapid development of coordinated creative assets. The scope included a half-page vertical newspaper ad with a strong emphasis on Santa’s visit, a festive red-and-green color palette, and clearly communicated event details. The campaign also required multiple ad versions to support countdown timing, as well as a matching website slider to extend the message digitally.
